Fantasy Legends

Draft the greatest to ever play β€” and watch their real games decide your season.

Jim Brown. Marino. Rice. Moss. LT in his prime. Fantasy Legends is fantasy football across ALL of history: a snake draft over the greatest seasons and careers ever recorded, a 14-week head-to-head season, an 8-team playoff, and a champion.

No projections and no simulations β€” every point comes from a real box score, dealt like cards.

Two ways to run it

Same snake draft, same head-to-head season and playoffs, same real box scores. The commissioner picks the mode at setup β€” what a team owns is what changes.

πŸ“…

Player Seasons β€” the original

You draft a season.

1997 Brett Favre is one pick. 1984 Dan Marino is another. Every legendary SEASON is its own asset, so two rivals can own different Favre years β€” and the debate over whether 2007 Brady beats 2013 Manning gets settled on the scoreboard. Each league week, your player's dealt one of that season's 14 real games.

Why leagues love it: deep draft boards (thousands of seasons), sharp strategy β€” is one monster year worth more than a steady great one? β€” and endless rematches with different years.

πŸ†

Careers β€” one legend, all of it

You draft the player.

Draft Brett Favre and there is exactly ONE Favre in your league β€” his entire career belongs to your team. Every week deals him a random real game from any full season he ever played: a rookie-year grind or an MVP-year explosion, the draw decides.

Why leagues love it: true one-per-league bragging rights, longevity matters (more great games = more chances at a monster draw), and the optional QB Win-Game bonus (+10 when his team won that day) makes the old-school winners priceless.

How it works

Step 1

Draft

A live snake draft over the historical pool β€” thousands of player-seasons (or one-per-league careers), with a pick clock and auto-pick style you set in League Settings.

Step 2

The deal

At kickoff every roster gets a sealed random order: which real game each player produces in each league week. Every game plays exactly once β€” nobody, not even the commissioner, knows the order.

Step 3

Game night

Score weeks whenever you like, or schedule a weekly auto-cast night. Every final gets a πŸ“Ί Gamecast: a full play-by-play broadcast, drive by drive, paced to β‰ˆ 30 minutes with a live scoreboard and game chat.

Step 4

Playoffs

Top 8 after week 14, fresh draws each round, single elimination to a champion.

Real games, dealt like cards

No averages, no projections, no simulations. Your weekly points are the yards, touchdowns, turnovers, sacks, picks and kicks your player REALLY produced in the game he drew β€” valued by your league's own scoring table. Every breakdown shows the exact game each stat line came from, down to the real final score (β€œ1997 wk 7 Β· W 24–17 vs DEN”).

The one exception: weekly game logs before 1999 were never published anywhere, so classic seasons (1970–1998) are rebuilt from official season totals β€” 14 weeks at the player's true per-game rate, identically for every league, era-fair.

πŸ“Ί Pick your game night

Schedule the day and time your league's games run β€” say, every Sunday at 7 PM β€” and each week casts itself: a full play-by-play Gamecast, drive by drive with a live scoreboard and game chat, paced to β‰ˆ 30 minutes for watch parties. Every game night shows on the schedule in each member's own time zone.
